Travis Surber is a self-taught artist/writer who got his start in the independent comic Midnight Ink in 2004. After several years of "exposure"(work without pay) he started the webcomic Hainted Holler in 2009. Since then he has managed to self-publish 2 collections of his strips, begin work on a collectible card game, appear on several podcasts, and is currently finishing up a graphic novel that was inspired by his daughter. Travis lives in Bassett, Va with his wife, daughter, and a surly cat.
