Doc Geressy

M. Doc Geressy is a professionally-trained broadcaster, expert costumer, enthusiastic movie car motorhead, actor, artist, designer, and paranormal investigator, and actual doctor.

Doc's broadcasting career spans over 20 years, working in Charlotte radio and with nationally syndicated morning shows like the Johnboy and Billy Show and the Bob and Tom Show.  Doc is also an instructor at the Charlotte Campus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and is the Executive Production Consultant for the National Investment Banking Association.

Doc is the creator and host of the The Sci-Fried Eggs radio show in addition to being the creator of the 5 Minute Delay Radio Network and the creator and talent on The Duster ‘n’ Tex Show.

In the world of costuming, Doc is most recognized for his Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and for having seen Ghostbusters well over 1000 times.  But that is just the tip of the iceberg.  Doc harbors a wealth of knowledge and experience and there’s not much he can’t or hasn't designed or created.  As a motorhead, Doc is an expert on movie cars and professional cars.  He is a well-versed prop builder and costume designer as well as an experienced tailor.  He has created costumes and props for Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars, Renaissance Festivals, Men in Black, and a variety of superheroes in addition to making prom and wedding dresses and even Civil War uniforms.  Doc is the founder of the Carolina Ghostbusters and the Federal Bureau for the Monitoring of Intergalactic Beings (FBMiB). In addition to the Ecto-1, Doc is currently working on the 1987 Ford LTD from the movie Men in Black.

In the realm of the paranormal, Doc has been doing investigations for over a decade and is a strict scientist when it comes to investigations.  He prefers to focus on the classification of phenomena in an effort to have paranormal occurrences and research recognized as an empirical science.

Doc is the curator of Bathurst Manor and enjoys archery, cake, and watching people run for their lives.
